Is response speed on social media important? Yes, but not crucial. The quality of the information provided is much more important. Many community managers consider the brand's response time to a fan page to be absolutely crucial. They work hard to respond quickly to every comment or entry. Does this make sense? Probably yes - e.g. to increase the website's position in industry rankings.
Unfortunately, from the point of view of the most Phone Number Data important recipients (brand customers), speed itself does not mean much. Together with SW Research, we invited over 1,200 people to participate in a simple survey. We asked them a question: “Imagine. that you are dissatisfied with the purchase and enter your complaint on the seller's Facebook page. How long would you expect the company to respond to your post?”
It turned out that the answer within a few hours would completely satisfy as many as 86% of people . More than half declare that they can wait a day for a response. Please bear in mind that we are talking about a complaint. Not about a question, e.g. about product availability, but about something much more serious.
